Locations & Stages

Schleswig offers a lot of space for entertainment – such as the "Heimat", the „Slesvighus“, the „Speeldeel“ or the A.P. Møller-Skolen, to name a few. All locations are of special charm, with a wide variety of interesting cultural programmes.

Whether you are looking for high class artists, actors and musicians from the Landestheater Schleswig-Holstein or local Low German mimes – in Schleswig you will always be pretty close.

The citizens of Schleswig are very inventive. Their old theatre had to be demolished. As an interim solution, the Schleswig-Holsteinische Landestheater is now permitted to perform in the SSF’s event building, belonging to the most important cultural organisation of the Danish minority in Schleswig.

A.P. Møller-Skolen

The Danish A. P. Møller-Skolen, a Danish grammar school, also offers its use as an additional venue for Schleswig's stages. One of it’s famous guests is the Schleswig-Holstein Symphony Orchestra which presents seven symphony concerts here each season.

Information and tickets:

Schleswiger Speeldeel

The Schleswiger Speeldeel e.V. is backed by approximately 100 volunteers of all generations who are committed to acting in Lower Germany.

In the cosy "Uns lütt Theoter" in the Friedrichstr. 60a in Schleswig, at least three different Low German plays per season are performed.

A place for culture and encounters in the middle of Schleswig's city centre – that's KulturL.

There, events of all kinds now invite you to low-threshold cultural enjoyment. If you would like to visit exhibitions after a shopping spree or during your lunch break, you can do so easily and free of charge at KulturL. In addition to the exhibitions, KulturL offers readings, concerts and much more.

By the way: At KulturL, a game round is offered every Thursday on which no further events or exhibition renovations are planned.
